maybe a dumb question but why so many BMW forums, just found this one by accident, Just one example that looks almost the same is Bimmerforums.com, so why both, what is this site's advantage? differances?

they attract different crowds from my experiences - I didn't 'gel' with bimmerforums that much - a much younger crowd I think - more into modding or so it seemed - that was some years back though... chill in both and find the one that fits your personality best.

Same reason there are different brands of coffee, toothpaste, gas, retail stores. Different strokes for different folks. People love choice.
