Hi folks , need some help from you guys, just bought a wee compact yesterday. its an e36 on a V plate (316 i se) , i noticed that when i switch off the car - take the keys out of the ignition and put the steering lock on , get out and lock the car that the instrument cluster and wee clock in the centre consul stay switch on and illuminated.. this has flattened the battery. im wondering if the ignition barel is worn or could this wee compact suffer from the dreaded boot wiring that the saloons and coupes have problems with.. any of you guys have this problem??? thanx in advance brian
