Question Engine failsafe program/ Transmission failsafe program

A couple of months back I bought the blue dome light for my car , they look nice on the car, but after a week & half all my interior lights went dead & my car show the battery light then the transmission failsafe program so i took it with a mecanic the I trust & we change the battery 1st it work after 2 days of driving the transmission failsafe program came up again, so I went back with the mecanic & we check on the computer it said it was the alternator we change it & my car was running good with no problems only the one with the interior lights. Until now the engine failsafe program came up & now I don't know what what to do it looks like every time i fix my car something new comes up! does anybody have the same problem or had similar problem?
