Stupid chevy driver

This is how my car looks like now, after some moron in a chevy silverado that was parked next to mine did after he decided to leave and forgot I was right next to him...he drove right into my left fender, scraping the sh....out of my car...

Sorry to hear that man! Insurance should have you covered though?

His insurance is giving me the run "run around"..I took my car to one of the body shops they told me to...only to get a "lowball" estimate of $810 to fix and about 4 days to do it...2 other shops quoted me $2000..saying perhaps their adjuster gave you that quote thinking you were driving an old Honda...I can get my insurance to fix but I have a $1k deductible...

It doesn't really matter what the adjustment cost is. The shop has a number they give you, their adjustment guy tells the shop they are too high and the shop adjust the rate.

You then take the car to the shop with check in hand and have them start the repair, anything that was forgotten or cost more money is adjusted thru the shop, the adjuster comes to the shop and approves the charges and the shop then continues with the repair.

I had a car my wife had run into a desk in our garage, we took the car and had it repaired with 3 adjustments to the original repair cost due to items the shop missed.

1. Just the headlight assembly on our cars are 1200.00

Yes, replacement parts are expensive...I have to fill some papers that the insurance sent me about the accident and mail it to them, and hopefully get my car fix as soon as possible...

Just make sure they get it right......if you were in the car start talking about your neck and back. That deductible is a killer I dropped mine down to 100.00 after having to pay for a windshield.
