"Fuel Supply" error

For the second time in a week, I have received a "Fuel Supply" error while driving. It then says words to the effect of "full power not available, drive moderately. It came up on the centre console and the instrument panel.

Both times the engine felt no different, and the error cleared itself, without even a restart.

Has anyone else had this?

I received a "FUEL SYSTEM MALFUNCTION" error message immediately after filling up last week. It also cleared itself after no other symptoms.

I've had this problem within the first few months of having my car. In August i took it to the dealer where they replaced some boards which were out of tolerance. Problem has not returned. Take it to the dealer.

I had the fuel system malfunction last week. Took it to the dealer and he reprogrammed the whole computer system. He said my software was older than the car itself.

Did the same the first time. Ended up being probably a combination of hardware and software.

The car was in for service, and this is what they did:

1. Diagnostics recommended cleaning and re-fitting fuel system connection.

2. Removed rear seat to test voltages and cleaned connections on fuel pump.

3. Cleared faults and road tested vehicle, no fault evident.

4. Recommend customer to monitor.

So far, has the fault has not shown up again.

Ps. I never like the idea of them 'road testing' my car, but I know they have to. I just don't like it...

I had a similar error message. Took it to the dealer and they replaced the fuel pump. Error has not returned.
