They have a lot of different products, and they range from expensive to ridiculous. I found, though, that by buying one of their samplers, I got small containers of their high-end products for a much more reasonable cost.

Note, you apply it by hand. Really. Not with a wax / foam / cloth applicator in your hand -- you use your hand. Dip your fingers in the wax and then apply it to the metal. I use the various surfaces of my palm to get into all the complex curves of the body. The carnauba needs the warmth to melt and spread evenly, and you can feel if you have too much or too little wax. And when I'm done, my hands are really soft.

Wax. How old school! I find candle wax is cheap and easy to apply using the flame approach.

Zymol is good stuff - I prefer sealants which are a bit more durable.

I am not much of a detail guy, I use zymol like once a year and use Meguiar's Ultimate Quik Wax every month or so. I can apply the Meguiar's Ultimate Quik Wax on my F10 in 5 to 10 minutes and it last at least a month.

With all the sealants out now I can't see why you wouldn't go that route. Zymol was popular maybe 10 years ago but there are more advance stuff out there now that shines more and lasts longer.

Personally I used the Optimum OptiCoat 2.0 on my paint which basically is a permanent solution. I can choose to wax over it if i want that extra pop but honestly its not needed as the car shines as is and the coating keeps the car cleaner longer.

First - Not the same name so doubt it.

Second - I would NEVER let the dealer detail my car even if it was free.

i use ice liquid wax . its made by turtle wax.

From what I understand from a chemist, Zymol Cleaner Wax is a Turtle Wax product that somehow has the Zymol name. (You know, like Porsche sunglasses.) I've been warned against this product several times. Of course, YMMV...

I heard that too - their higher end waxes are awesome but who can afford to pay $1000 a jar!

Zymol is very average but looks like it might be high end with the powder blue color and German name. Do they even sell it in Germany, or is it akin to the Grey Goose marketing trick?

If you're looking for a very good but "entry level" polish/sealant system, check out Zaino. It's not the "best," but it's very easy to use and will satisfy 99% of car owners.

Of course, I'm in the 1% (hahahahahaha) and drop more coin than necessary on higher end polishes and sealants, but it makes me happy.

Zymol is a average wax but a pretty good cleaner. For less than $10 a bottle, its not a bad product.

Man $1,000? In California we have dispensaries where the stuff is legal if you get a card from your doctor. Combining the right Zaino products produces great results and it's simple to use.
