Anyone picking up an F30 w/Nav, between mid-Nov and end of this year?

Hi guys,

There has been some pretty intense back-and-forth around the web about the new Professional (609) navigation, and if it will make it to the MY2013 F30, starting with PW45, i.e. November 4th.

Some folks (incl me) are looking to order an F30 before the end of the year, but want to confirm if the new Nav will indeed be included after PW45. My Client Advisor(s) say "yes", but they are not 100% certain.

So, if anyone here has an F30 on order (with Nav) with ED pickup scheduled November 19th, or later, their car should start being built during PW45+, and hopefully can confirm the question to those of us waiting stateside.

Yeah, saw where that came out, after I posed the original question.

I know Jon is telling the truth about what he received, but part of me is still a bit skeptical, because I know that origin of the original November information was definitely legit.

Either way, I'm ordering a car. It is just one of those things I'm going to have to see to believe. I think there are others that feel similar.

Jon is a very reliable source. Seeing his credible information year after year tells me that I wouldn't bet against his word. Also, seeing as we are only a couple weeks from 11/12 production and nothing official has come out, I wouldn't get your hopes up.

Technology changes rapidly. I remember when I had the first generation idrive (well 1st for the 3er, the E65 7 series had the true first generation) in my E90. Fast forward to 2012 in my 1er, idrive is lightyears ahead. However, I realize that in a short period of time it will become outdated. Look what happened to cars that had the old 4:3 NAV (E38, E39). Change happens, best way to avoid being "beat", as some would say, is skip out on the gadgets (That isn't necessarily my suggestion though).


Sit back and enjoy the wait....even better, you should expect no upgraded NAV. This way if you take delivery you won't be disappointed.

I guess we will see! Like I said, I'm ordering soon, regardless. And I won't be disappointed when (if!) I get the regular Nav.

Still will be fun to have any members doing ED in the next 1-2 months give us absolute confirmation
