Mein Auto: BMW 318i 2002
Question AC Malfunction

Hi everyone, I have a problem with my car's air conditioning system and I'm starting to freak out.

Car Specs:
BMW, 318i, 2002, Sedan, Driver on left side.

Problem: AC Malfunction

I bought my car around a year and a half ago.
Since then I always had a malfunctioning AC system.

Chronology of Event:

> Cooling Mode
- AC air not cool
- I added refrigeration gas
- AC air cool for a few days only then like ambient again
- Changed the compressor's joints and gaskets n stuff
- AC air cool again
- AC fan command starting to malfunction:
+ Fan speed changing randomly and switching on/off on its own
+ Fan + AC turned on/off randomly even with fan button set on '0'
+ Fan + AC remained on randomly even after the car was turned off
+ Fan + AC turned on randomly even when the car is turned off
+ AC on/off randomly and independently of its button

> Switched to Heating Mode
- It worked for a while (heat coming from engine)
- Fan command starting to malfunction again, but slightly:
+ Fan speed changing randomly and switching on/off on its own
+ Fan turned on/off randomly even with fan button set on '0'

> Switched to Cooling Mode
- Changed the fan's coil and some resistor
- Added refrigeration gas
- It worked for a while (but at times i had to press the AC button on/off multiple times and wait for it to actually work, independently of the button light being On)
- While AC on, I heard a hissing noise coming from the air inlet, and suddenly a big cloud of white smoke got out around my front hood
- I turned off the car, checked a bit, thought it was due to a redounding oil leakage problem. There was oil residues scattered all around the right side of the engine near the braking oil container
- AC fan working but no longer cool air
- Added refrigeration gas (it wasn't empty)
- It worked for a few days
- Same thing happened, I turned on my car, turned on the AC, two minutes later, I hear the hissing noise, then the white cloud outta the front hood
- AC fan working but no longer cool air
- Mechanic pressurized the system, no leakage in gas system
- Added refrigeration gas
- It worked for half a day then white cloud poof outta the front hood
- I forgot about AC for a while
- I didn't add gas, used fan only to ventilate the car
- Fan command continued to malfunction:
+ Fan speed changing randomly and switching on/off on its own

> Switched to Heating Mode
- Fan command continued to malfunction:
+ Fan speed changing randomly and switching on/off on its own
+ Persisting On-Its-Own-Fan-Off-mode when AC button off

What is wrong with my car?

Any help would be appreciated.
I am completely at your disposal with further explanations.

Best regards.
