The fact that BMW put xenon hid headlights, led headlight rings, and led taillights on my x3 is nice and as expected. But what were they thinking putting standard incandescent turnsignals and brake lights!!! :tsk: I know there are led bulbs out there that fit in the standard slots and I want to get them. Anyone know what bulbs will work on the F25??
I put these ones in the front (amber turn signals) and they work great. There is no DTC ("error") message reported, so they function just like normal bulbs. I wanted to try them as a test before getting rears and they definitely passed. Haven't bothered to get rears yet though. http://www.ebay.com/itm/TWO-AMBER-N...Parts_Accessories&hash=item337936b227&vxp=mtr
Eventually that link above will die, so for future reference:
Item title: TWO AMBER No Resistor Required 7507 BAU15s PY21W 20-SMD LED Lights
eBay seller: maple125
I don't believe so. From looking at the manual, they will only work on the front. Obviously these ones are yellow, but even if you wanted yellow in the rear, they are PY sockets on the front and the manual indicates the rear sockets are normal P sockets. So, instead of PY21W (front) you'd need P21W lamps for the rear.
