Team USA credit voucher

The voucher expires 10/31. Does this mean delivery must be taken by then, or will it work if the only the order has been placed by that date and delivery is taken later?

Program expires on 10/31 (must take delivery).

something tells me a holiday credit will be in effect after team USA credit goes away...

That is what I'm waiting for - they had a $2500 holiday credit on the 6 series last December.

Yes, I am hoping that BMW brings back the big incentives for Dec so I can stack it with the USAA program discount, and place a special order at end of year for a March build to get the new Idrive version. Hopefully I'll be able to do this.

The problem with that is you can only lock rates for 60 days and I am not sure if that even includes incentives, I thought it was just rates.

But hopefully one of the dealers will chime in here to see if there is a way around that.

The guidelines are the same for everybody regardless if they are buying a 30K base X1 or a 150K B7. Program locks are 90 days for West region customers and 60 days for everybody else.

Also FYI, the current USAA offers ends on 01/02/2013

Actually we did not have a $2,500.00 holiday credit for the 6 Series last year. We had a $2,500.00 "Mission to Drive" credit for the 6 and this credit only applied to BMW FS funded transactions...

delivery on MY12/13 must be by 10/31/2012 unless it's a 3 Series xdrive sedan. 3 Series Xdrive sedans deliveries are good till 01/02/2013.

If you are going to order a car either way and not leasing then I wouldn't worry about holiday incentives. Just decide on the price you are willing to pay and start shopping around. I am guessing a dealer wouldn't care to give you a production slot in March if you both agree on a price.

But USAA + any incentives would be my price. No real need to do alot of shopping around. Not sure why any dealer would not be willing to take the order and time it to my wishes. No offense to anyone, but what are we buying here $50 toasters? Given the level of vehicle, state of US and world economy and intense competition you would think they would do anything within reason to make a sale. And I think the series of BMW would make a difference - they certainly make alot more off a 650 than a 1 or 3 series. ( dealer & BMW)

USAA + incentives off what though? If you are just looking to get that off MSRP then I am sure you can negotiate that price now while estimating what the incentive will be.

USAA pricing is off MSRP. That figure I have now. But we don't know what the Dec incentives will be yet to add to it, so how can we negotiate a price? Take a look at the 7 series, currently BMW is offering a free M sport Pkg. No way to know what they will have on a 6 in December.

I guess what I am getting at is most people go in to a dealer with a goal in mind. For example $1000-$3000 over invoice then they add the incentives to that. The point is not really to reach your goal with the incentives, the point is to add the incentives to your goal.

I hear you. My goal is simply to get the biggest combined discount possible on a 650 coupe. My USAA deal is currently $13,575 off MSRP on my optioned car. Any standard BMW incentive can be added to that (holiday cash, option credits, ect) I guess if it can't be timed to get the Dec incentive & March build, I will have to wait for the return of option credits in the spring.

Are you sure about the BMWFS requirement on the mission to drive.? One of the guys on the forum Southern, got the mission to drive $2500 incentive and paid cash for his 650- positive.

More than sure...holiday credit/mission to drive are FS incentives...must contract with FS to claim the credit...just like the current loyalty credit.

I don't believe you can do paper work until you have a VIN, and for a March build - I don't think you will have a VIN until sometime in late Jan or Feb. Just my thoughts.
