Rate this deal!

Okay all, wife and I are close to pulling the trigger on a '13 E70. Wanted to get community feedback as to whether or not you think I can get a better deal.

One thing missing from the bmwconfig.com screenshot above is the custom wheels that we're planning on ordering. MSRP on them is $6909, the sales guy talked his parts department into selling them as part of the deal for $5223.

I feel like we're pretty close given how decked out this build is. I asked him to throw in the extended service warrantee as well. To which he of course answered, that he can only sell that for cost at $2095.

Trying to get a feel for how much more I should twist the poor guy's arm. Thoughts?

Why is his msrp $2000 less than BMW config.com?

Not sure what wheels you want but check what they would cost on getBMWparts.com. See what total price would be with tires and after selling stock wheels.

Soft close doors should be included in the Conv. Package now, although the price of it increased. Wonder if he's missing the leather dash or something as well and that's why the MSRP is $2225 off?

OP, are you sure it has a nappa leather dash? Doesn't seem that most dealers would order a car like that.

Anyway....forget your add ons, take the bmwconfig invoice and add MACO (it was 400 for me) and then add $500 for the dealer. That is a good/reasonable price. $0 or minus for the dealer (straight invoice) would be a very good deal.

All the extras....locking lugs, wheels/tires, ext warranty can be added later. Research how much they cost independent of your dealer and then see what kind of price he is giving you. If he is close to what you can get them for elsewhere, then buy them from him for the convenience if you want.

BTW...you can probably always get a better deal...but time and travel are worth something.

go after market like HRE wheels.
