2000 Euro spec owners manual

Hi All

Does anyone have a PDF version of the 2000 Euro spec owners manual?

The previous owner lost the books and since these cars are rare in South Africa there are none available and it has to be imported (at a cost of approx. $40).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I was just hoping to get my hands on one so i could browse through it.

One specific question - does it say anything about letting the oil temp get above a certain level before you can rev it higher than a certain rev (4000 maybe?)?

Hi ///Mad

Have you had any luck yet in getting a softcopy for the manual - I'm in the same position as you where the previous owner chucked it away.

Another SA owner!

No luck yet. The dealer gave me a Z3 book - they have to import the M Coupe book (about R250)

Sorry for the late reply..

The oil temp should be between 50-80 for you to rev over 4000RPM..

Try the BMW International site. I downloaded a copy of my manual from the US site. Useful to have it in .pdf for quick away-from-home/car searches
