Question Cranks but Will not start - HELP

I have a 2000 528i. The blower motor was not working so I tried replacing the blower motor resistor - nothing. Jumped the blower motor it ran, so I tried a second time & still nothing so determined blower motor was bad & planned to replace it. In the meantime I reconnected resistor while I waited for the ordered motor.

Problem now: I started the car after trying the resistor & jumping the blower motor, car running fine & blower motor also running but sounds very loud, blower motor then dies, car runs rough & stalls. I have not been able to start it since this happened!! I have checked all fuses & they are fine, no codes, why will it crank but not start?
