storm sandy damagfed? arrived at port on 25th - still not at dealer
All
My car arrived at the port as scheduled on oct 25th. Dealer says as far as they know there ar enot aware of any damage to any of the cars in port. However cars are still at port and not dispatched to dealer ( as of Novth 6pm 2012). Is it possible that these new cars might be damaged in Sandy. How to verify? thoughts?

Meant to say Nov 5th 6pm. This is a new car that arrived at the port on oct 25th.

I have looked and found no reports of any BMWs damaged at the New Jersey VPC. Difficulty moving freight out of there is a certainty.

Mine arrived at the port on PORGY, Thursday the 25th too... it somehow managed to get to Connecticut only two days later, on Saturday the 27th. I was lucky. Another car, also off the same ship did not make it...
"RIP to my 2013 335i xdrive msport. EBII. Just got word today my car was destroyed while @ the VPC in NJ. It was on the WW porgy. Arrived to nj/Ny port on 10/25. .....but I am happy and very thankful to be able to say all my family and loved ones are safe. That's what is really important." My dealer told me today that they have another car at the port they are waiting on for a customer and they still have not heard a thing. Not good. Good luck to you with your car!
