Mein Auto: 2009 BMW 328xi
Hello - New Member

Hello everyone, I just bought a 2009 BMW 328xi tonight and thought I would join a forum like I have done with my past cars. I attached a couple pictures of the new car along with a picture of the old car I sold in Maryland before moving to Washington. My first thing I need to research is to find a roof rack that I can put on that is fully removable since I do not have fold down seats (even though I have heated seats and a steering wheel I do not have the cold weather package). I want to keep my roof clean and looking normal until I go skiing/snowboarding in the mountains. Good to finally be on a BMW forum!

Congrats and welcome to the 'fest.

Are you aware your 3er has hidden roof rack mounting points? Most people use a Thule rack.

Welcome! Congrats on the new car. I have the BMW OEM rack and it works well and attaches to the contact points under the little flaps that are on your roof. Easy on, and easy off and no contact with roof.
