Guys,

How do I get to the lower fuses in the glovebox?

Do I need to remove the glove box?

I have an 05 and this is how I do it.
Open glove box, put your hand in the middle of what looks like a divider bar on the back is a button, press and lift up and take out , now look up and little to the left you will see a silver tab, press and pull down.. And you should see them

What about the trunk fuses? I need to replace the cigarette lighter fuse in my 2005 645 Convertible. As I understand the fuse for this is in the trunk area?

Take a look at this thread, the first diagram posted by Superhart is for the 645 and shows the cigarette lighter fuse as #61 in the trunk. These are accessed by pulling up the back carpet, then the foam oddments tray.

On a side note, you can reinstall your trunk carpet upside down to give you a no-slip matt. Something BMW charges extra for...
