Verizon and at&t Sell Your Location and Usage Stat
The action is "on" by default. Here's how to stop it
This page says you have 30 days to do so if you bought an iPhone5 on Verizon. Don't know if it applies to at&t's or Sprint's iPhone5. |

All of this sharing and selling your information is getting on my nerves. Google is getting pretty lousy at this. Yesterday I updated an app on my tablet, and wanted to give a brief review. As soon as I started, Google is telling me (at least they tell you!) that my review in that app will be connected to my g+ account and will be accessible to g+ users, and to Google searches. WTF???? Really? Do I really need the whole world know what I say about some product? Of course I clicked "no", as in not agreeing to share this info, and the review page throws you out.
What is extra slimy on their part is that they always use that cryptic language that doesn't make a lot of sense and doesn't REALLY tell you what they are saying. They are using the most vague phrasing you could imagine. You could have 10 different ways to interpret their "message". This is happening across the board with them. You put a word somewhere on the internet, and they want to publish it everywhere else across their products. I didn't mind that they use this information for profiling, but actually posting it for everyone else to see, with my name and account connected to it is way crossing the line.
