Tire Size for M-Par reps?

Hey, I'm looking at getting m-parallel replicas off discount tire direct, and I have no clue as to what size tire I should get for them. I want to get the 17x8 up front and 17x9.5 in the back.

I had a hell of a time today, I was almost home and my front left tire blew out. I've known I needed new tires for a while now, but this came out of nowhere. I bought a set of winter tires from a guy off cragslist, and they've been sitting in my garage so I put the spare on and came home to put the winter tires on a little early. Turns out they don't even fit my car, which pisses me off because they guy specifically told me they would. So now I have to either buy new tires for the wheels I have, which I hate, or get the m-pars sooner than I had planned.

stock oem set up for 17" is 235/45/17 front & 255/40/17 rear for non m cars. you could go 245/45/17 front 265/40/17 rear max. personally, i would get 18" mpars. good luck.
cheers,
larry

Yeah I actually meant 18s I don't know why I wrote 17. What would you recommend for the 18's? Also what brands? I'm trying to be cost efficient as this wasn't really in the budget yet.

I actually did these on mine and happy with the setup. Tires are a bit slippery in the wet around corners but not sure if it is just because they are still fairly new and just need more miles to break them in.

I have discount tire M-Par reps staggered 8inch front and 9.5 rear. Tires are Pirellis Front: 245/40 /18 and rears are : 265/35/18. I should have went 275 in the rear instead..

235's on front and 265 on rears is correct fitment size on gen but also advise on reps due to handling and steering!

I was thinking about doing a 9.5 squared setup with the m par reps. Anyone know if it will work?
