DAB switch to FM

Anyone in the UK had any issues with DAB not switching to FM on loss of signal?

Of course I have the right checkbox ticked for failover, but it never seems to occur. There is clearly a signal for the FM (when the DAB signal goes), because I put it to the test and let it switchover. It didn't so I tuned to FM manually and the signal was clear :-/

Does this technology work? :-)

Thanks!

I have exactly the same issue and BMW say there are no known issues that cause this.

Did you ever find out if there is a fix to this?

I have done some research and from what I can gather it's an issue primarily with BBC radio stations. It works with Classic FM, Capital Radio in London and Heart in London. Here is a thread with more info. My local BMW dealer is going to send this info to Germany to get some feedback.

Most BMW owners are apparently reporting the same issue with BBC, but other manufacturers aren't having an issue.

Try with a local station near you, or Classic, and see if it works with that.
