Question Reprogramming Keyless Entry

I just got my BMW & it has keyless entry but the previous owner lost the remote. The instructions in the users manual for doing a reprogram are pretty simple, and I just received my new remote today, but the only thing is the manual mentions a "control unit" that a chip from the remote has to be inserted into, but doesn't mention the location of this said control unit other than that is is "concealed within the vehicle". Does anyone have any idea where this might be? Its a 94 BMW 325is.

Thanks
-Ann

The location for the control module is located behind the glove compartment. To reach it you need to take out the screws in the passenger air vents,
