Hartge Style Front Splitter Search

Like some of you, I've been looking for a Hartge Styled Front Splitter for my E60 with MTech bumpers for quite awhile with no luck. They are available for E60 M5's but not for non M's with MTech. I've exchanged a number of emails with Ken at RevoZport (Hong Kong based) and he is willing to produce them if he has a group order of at least 10 units. Cost for fiberglass is $299 and carbon fiber $500. FedEx shipping isn't cheap at $210. Another added cost is a 4% PayPal surcharge. I have not seen any RevoZport products but the company has been around for awhile and I read in Bimmer forums that they make a good product. I just wanted to see if there's any interest out there to pursue this more or if there are other options to consider.

Thanks guys! Here's a photo to show what the splitter would look like. I like the way it looks integrated into the factory Mtech bumper and still gives decent ground clearance.

It will fit if your 550 has the factory aero/Mtech front bumper. Cost (including FedEx shipping) for the fiberglass unit is estimated to be a little over $500. CF will be $200 more. While not cheap, it's still less than half the price of a genuine Hartge when they were available (not made anymore). See my original post for more details.

I'm all about importing parts Juss for the cool factor, so I understand your excitement but mod bargains sells something just like this.

Modbargain carries a Hamann styled unit. You can see the gap in the center portion of the splitter. The Hartge style has no gap.

There might be a few. I'll have a better idea in a week if this is a go or not. I'll keep you posted!

Hey guys, for those of you still interested in the Hartge front splitter for your e60 with mtech bumpers. There's 3 of us interested @ 5 Series.net. Checkout -http://forums.5series.net/e60-parts-accessories-mods-22/replica-hartge-lip-125206/ - if you want to add your name to the group buy list. Thanks!
