Coolant Level Sensor
Does anyone know if there is suppose to be an O-Ring for the coolant level sensor (attached to the expansion tank) for an E-46 Series 3? Seems like it's just plastic on plastic as far as a seal goes.

No. It does not actually contact the coolant.

If you look into the bottom of the ET, you'll see a solid annular well. No opening to coolant. Sensor is magnetic. |
