Wheel vibration, excess noise, etc. Anything that isn't smooth. Wheel cracks are pretty easy to spot because you will start to loose air in your tire and your TPMS will go off

I went in for a vibration at highway speeds after hitting a pothole with the front right rim/tire. They found the front right was oval. They also found two others were bent. On my 650 you can see the lip is bent. I haven't taken it in yet but I was at a BMW USA golf outing today and they said they might swap out the rims for a different style that is less prone to bending...

Car went in for 15k service yesterday (10/16). I complained about vibration at speeds of 50-60 mph. Advisor got back to me, found 3 bent wheels (I have the insurance). Said they will have to order the wheels as they are special. I don't know how long this will take, but it's not a problem as I have their loaner for however long it takes. Only complaint is that they gave me a 3 series.

I paid $1374 for 3 year protection, wheels and tires on 5/26/2011.

$1200 for 4 years, needs to be purchased at time of sale i believe

What is the deductible.

I would think the opposite if true. Tires transmitting force to the rim is almost like the same theory as a car's front end crumble zone of a car. A runflat's sidewall is so stiff that it transmit almost all the force to the rim whereas a conventional tire will absort some of the force.

I just called to check, my dealership is giving me T&W insurance for 899+ tax for 5 yrs, should I get it, suggestions. I have GY LS2 on my car.

Mine was through safeguard which is the BMW sponsored insurance. No deductible and no limit on # of Claims. Includes all labor, mount balance etc and valid at all BMW dealers.
