Individual prologue just finished - Lance finished 2nd, 2 seconds behind. Thrilling to the end!

Uhlrich was 16th ...

Lance looks like he is in great shape!

I hope the weather will play along. It's been raining maybe 35 times a day around here. Forecast is saying rain again in the Liege leg. We'll see.

Lance is looking strong again. Cancellara didn't surprise me. He's very young, but already successful. I've heard his name back in 1999, when he was a junior biker. He's a promising future, IMO. He set the third fastest prologue in the Tour history

Thanks, Pintnight for starting this thread..

I'm really excited about this year's Tour. I got OLN this time for sure. So I'm glued to the tube when I can watch it.

Yeah, the prologue was awesome. I'm really impressed with Lance's form. I wasn't disappointed that Candellera won. I just didn't feel like the time was right for Lance to be in yellow from the start. But I did think it was hilarious to see Armstrong in the green jersey.

Great sprint on stage 1.

22 years ago I trained with a pro. Bicycling was not a big deal in this country, soccer a gleam in our eye.
Look how far we've come.
Go USA!!!

The Tour organizers have changed this years course to thwart Lance's bid for a six straight win. Just another example of French pettiness and jealousy of everything American.

If the FiA were running the Tour de France, it would be truly a event.

Top 3 in today's stage:

Nazon
Zabel
McEwen

Mayo was involved in a crash, but is apparently ok as he finished. Armstrong was a bit nervous about today's stage on the cobbles, but apparently got through it ok.

But if you ask a sprinter, they wouldn't want to be anywhere else. They live for that stuff.

All members of one team that finish together will get a time difference based at a table. The Rabobank Team for example finished with a time difference of 1 minute 53 seconds. Because of the new rule the members of this team will get a time that is one minute more than those in the winning team.
