Has anyone replaced the passenger side view mirror? I just broke mine.

I have to replace the glass only (thankGOD!) but I had a question, I have a 2011 x5 but I'm getting an amazing deal on a glass replacement for a 2009 x5. I know that the x5 was last redesigned in 2007 so will the 2009 mirror be compatible with the 2011?
