It's takin a while to get used to how thin, light and small it is...in a good way. It is really really portable. Feels like a notepad. Not for fat fingers though I think.

On a very different note, somehow I did think of you and your family when Sandy hit. Hope all is well. Next time I hear someone upstate complain about the snow we get, I'll slap them since what we experience isn't worthy of even mentioning compared to what the coast is experiencing...Bloomberg was right to succumb to pressure and cancel the marathon so as not to take resources away from the recovery efforts. Yes, it was a very expensive decision but money can be made up - lost lives can't.

WTF? "Stay safe this winter"? "I did think of you and your family..."? WTF, is this some kind of love fest? This thread is never going to get to number 1 with those kind of sentiments. This has got to stop, now. Let me see if I can get this going again;

328i2013 - BJ PM'd me stating that purchasing the 328 really overtaxed your budget, and that you'd really be happier driving a Kia.

BJ - I spoke with 328i2013 a bit ago, and he claimed that he spent the last holiday at a certain "beach house" with a certain "trophy wife".

Discuss.

You won't need the ceramic brakes because the standard brakes are excellent, IMO. That saves what, like $5,000?

Besides the superior braking performance, the ceramic brakes, like the lightweight forged wheels, reduce unsprung weight which improves suspension compliance, steering response, braking, and acceleration. Porsche options are expensive, but it really depends if one wants a Porsche for show, or go. Besides, I wouldn't want anyone to call the Boxster and underwhelming boat.

You just proved my point right. Most of these are aesthetic and comfort features.

Actually, none of these are comfort or aesthetic options.

When you option a $50,000 car to cost $100,000 I'm fairly certain leaving a single option off because it cost $5,000 is inconsequential.

We just figured out where you went wrong, your misunderstanding of the definition of aesthetic and comfort features.

Lol. BJ would have just said it here if he wanted to. He probably did already too.

As far as trophy wife goes, she's probably 30 years older than me.

You can't be this dumb. You read the last two items on a long list of performance upgrades and labeled the whole thing "aesthetics and comfort features"

Neither the sport seat nor the bigger rims will make the driver feel more comfy. You keep losing it.

In that case you prove my point further that there are even more useless features.

Just cuz you guys are ganging up on my legitimate concerns, don't expect me to give up. I would say we can agree to disagree. But I find it hard to agree with anything you have to say. Are you pining for troll status?

A car is a complete waste of money for you. Use public transportation.

There's more to performance than horsepower!

A seat that fits you better is a seat that allows you to acheive higher levels of performance since you are properly secured in your sitting position. The SportDesign Steering wheel comes with proper paddle shifters which allow you to keep boths hands on the wheel while shifting. I thought since you were planning on buying a Boxster, you would have known these about these freatures...I guess not. The Boxster S that wins the comparos comes with the performance options that I listed. Please don't buy a base Boxster and then start complaining the performance wasn't what you read about.
