Photos of our new X1

We picked up our 2013 X1 sdrive28i this past Saturday. Really happy with the car so far. It's roomier than our other cars (see picture below), punchy, and drives well for a taller vehicle. We selected alpine white, oyster interior with dark copper trim. It's an x line as well. This car is for my partner. I would've probably gone with the sport line myself. I *really* like the LED halos and eyelids on the front and the LED tail lights on the rear. Anyway, to the pics!

And for fun, our other vehicles:

Hrm, honestly I don't know the %. It's the max legal for Arkansas. Probably 35% or something like that, looks darker than it actually is because of the cloudy weather. We had the dealership have their tint guy do it before we picked it up.

Beautiful car- the tint finishes it off nicely. I want AW also, but my wife wants black so we are going to order a Saph Black/Terra Nevada / combo. Unsure of matte wood or dark copper high gloss. I think the high loss trim looks nice, it's real dark right?

Nice car! We also ordered the oyster/dark copper gloss. Car should show up any day now...i'm wondering if the stereo area also has a black gloss finish or if it's matte on the X-Line as i've seen it done both ways...

The dark copper is extremely dark all right! I honestly would've preferred something a little lighter but it still looks good, and when sunlight shines directly on it it looks great! As for the radio area, I'm not sure. I'll try to get a picture when the car gets back home.

Very nice pics! I like the tint as well. How much does a tint job run (ballpark)? Never had a tinted car before, but I'm seriously considering it.

Thanks! It cost us $200, which is probably $50 more than it should have. The place I usually go charges $150 but this was the dealership's preferred place and I wanted to have them tinted before we picked up the car so what are ya gonna do? Not too big of a deal considering I was able to talk them into 5% off MSRP when they originally weren't going to budge past 3% because "it's such an in-demand new car." Overall we were, and always have been, very happy with the dealership experience. Quick plug, this is BMW of Northwest Arkansas. They have always seemed to bend over backward to make sure we're happy. I guess that might be because this is the third car we've gotten from them in the past year.

By the way, in case anyone is curious about some real world money considerations:

For 15k per year, 45k total lease, 57% residual and whatever the most recent MF drop was (thinking 0.00138?), put a total of $3k down making our payments $48x per month and that's with our somewhat high taxes taken into account. Not bad to me considering my Cooper S I just leased is $440 per month and it was over $5k cheaper!

It was $38,5xx. Would've been a heck of a lot less if BMW would let you a la carte the X1 like they do practically every other vehicle they sell. This one is basically x line with Premium and Lighting packages.
