Starting fault
Hi everyone, just aquired a 98 528i touring but have had trouble starting it. I'd left keys in ignition all day(but not switched on) starter turned but wouldn't fire up.Had starter checked out which was ok, battery was flat though, but still wouldn't jump start.Could this be a immobiliser problem with battery being flat ???
Any suggestions much appreciated

These cars are *extremely* battery-dependent, and a failing battery will cause many problems. Replace yours ASAP....do you have Walmart stores there ? On this side of The Pond, we can get a suitable replacement at Walmart for around $100 USD.
