rear window washer

My rear window washer isn't spraying. I replaced the pump but still doesn't work. I tried using a pin to unclog valve, nothing. I have a sneaking suspicion that the previous owner probably used water instead of washer fluid and that my problems may be minerals in the line. HELP! I don't know to unclog it..
But in case that isn't the problem any ideas?

If that were the case, I think freezing and a broken connector would be a more likely problem than scale buildup in the line.

Check for dampness around the transmission hump on passenger side.

Or in the headlining above the liftgate window.
A few owners have found the connection there comes adrift for some reason.

If not, confirm the new pump is getting power using a multimeter.
Or, if easy, replace tubing with a short test piece.
There seems to be separate fuses for the washers, 30A for front and rear, 7.5A for headlamps (if fitted).
I imagine the original pump could have developed a short and blew its fuse.
But it seems they usually fail mechanically by developing a leak.
