New to Bimmerfest

Hey all, found this forum through E46fanatics. Looking forward to lots of learning and chitchat.

My first Bimmer was a 95 325 convertible, which was a great car except for the automatic transmission. I bought it in 2007 and sold it in 2010. I turned it over to my daughter bc I needed a 4 door sedan for work reasons. She was afraid she'd put a dent in it, and we took it away from her on weekends. So we sold it and got her a pre-dented 97 honda civic. She misses that car more than we do.

Just picked up a 2004 325 convertible with a 5 speed transmission. I was waiting for the prices of the ZHPs to come down to where I could justify buying one, but the affordable ZHPs had high mileage and seem to be abused. However, I'm happy with this car. It has minimal electronic doodads, so it should be easier to maintain. The manual top was a great selling point with me, along with the non-33 shades of gray Oxford Green color.
