bmw 550i

i just need some advice for things to doo to my 550i with the m package i take care of this car so much its my baby, right now what i got done so far are 6000k hid kit for my foglights and i have order white angel eyes, 8000k hids for my low beams, and pure yellow high beams and am getting a complete headlight redone, hopefully they turn out to be nice and i will be getting tint within a week or so, please give me suggestions on what to do to 550i or what do u think of what i am getting done to it thanks

What kind of budget are we talking about? Small stuff? Interior LED kit? Black grills? Wheels? Exhaust?

budget is not a big deal id say something like rims, loud exhaust, what do u think of the stuff imma get done so far?

20" staggered wheels, springs, cone style intake and a deep throaty exhaust.

That's always the best things to start with. Look at about a $2100 and up depending on the wheels you pick.

thanks i was thinking off all those things i think imma go with the rims in a couple moonths because winters comming up and it gets pree bad up here in alberta. can specify any exhausts and intake thanks

A new set of rims is always a great immediate change to the look of the car. How are the roads in your area? Our roads are pretty rough so I stuck with the 19's and still already had to replace one wheel due to a slight disagreement with a pothole. Are you going for complete winter and summer setups?

As far as exhaust is concerned, I'll have a review up shortly after I get the Magnaflow system I bought from another forum member here. It's at a friend's house in San Diego and I'm waiting for a buddy of mine, who drives to So Cal a lot, to pick it up for me. From what I've seen on youtube, it's gorgeous and sounds amazing

I'm real interested to hear the pros and cons of this exhaust set up, I really love the way the car sounds stock when I run up through the gears, but wouldn't mind something a bit louder. Can't wait!!! (Wish I was coming up to the bay area in the near future, I'd bring it up for you!!).

right now for a couple of months i wont do anything for the tire setup because i might be parking it for the winter months, up here in calgary, alberta winter is a real pain for driving, but if i see nice rims at a good price i dont mind buying them right now and putting them on during the spring, and as for the exhaust i will wait for gcvt to get his done and see wat you think of it, but for rim size i do want to go 19-20s and staggered in the back

You can do an Idrive retrofit to the new HD screen. There's a group buy offer for $1,750 all inclusive.
Also upgrade speakers with the plug and play Jehnert Flatline kit. It's like getting a whole new sound system. $1,000 for complete front kit so you can run L7.
M5 trunk spoiler. $100 on ebay, pre painted.
Eibach sport springs. Under $300. This is huge!

If you do any amount of driving at night you will hate the 8k low beams. I put in 6k in my last M3 and while they looked great with the 6k Orion V-2 Angel eyes and 6k HID fogs they did not illuminate the road well at all. 8k will be downright weak but if you just want the white/blue look go for it. I prefer to see what is in front of me so I kept my 550i low beams stock and upgraded the AE's to BMS LED's and fogs to 5300k so it produces a better all around match then leaving everything OEM but does not diminish night time illumination.
