I know I have posted about this in a previous posting however since we have figured out how to take care of the interior of the Z4 that I was looking at buying I am interested in purchasing the vehicle still. The only issue left is the headlights. The car is sitting at my home tonight and I had a chance to play with the headlights once dark. The xenons still will not ignite however you can hear a clicking noise from the front of the vehicle especially when you turn the lights on bright. When you push the turn signal stalk forward the lights do nothing however when you pull it back the halogens will light up. Should the halogen part of the headlight light up with the stalk pushed forwards or does this only light up when it is pulled backwards? What might be the cause of the clicking noise that I hear? I know most xenon's make a noise when igniting from messing with our Escalade and the Audi I used to have. There is moisture in the drivers side housing although the passenger side is clear. What does the ballast control exactly?
