E30 (1982 - 1993)
God's Chariot. The E30 was produced primarily from 1982 through 1991. The cabriolet was the one exception which was produced through 1993. |

I am wanitng to replace my shift boot and e-brake boot with this http://www.uucmotorwerks.com/ultrasuede/ and my steering wheel with
http://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-17...FWHZQgodeC0Alg and i am considering covering my whole dash and center counsle with either Alcantara or a something vary similar all with the same stitching i know it can be done and i have a friend who did interiors for porsche for a living who has agreed to teach me to do it for free. what im wanting to know is has any one elts done this and if so do they regret it or is it the best thing they have done to their interior? and yes i understand Alcantara is expensive as can be. |

Little hints of the fabric is nice. Shift boot, e-brake boot + wheel will be just right. I say you keep your dash nice and simple so that your $$ pieces will stand out.

You can google it. A few people have DIY's on how to fix dash cracks. I think replacing the dash is just a little north of 100 dollars if you do it yourself.

They are sold on the forums a lot. It's a matter of just cruising the for sale section. As I recall you can still get them from dealers too. But it might be harder in South Africa. |
