Shark lights

Hi all. My first post. Bought a beautiful 1985 in Savarin Gold and beige interior, though the seats are slightly darker, don't know why, but looks good. My question is about the dash lights. I noticed almost everything is dark on the dash driving at night. I ended up replacing my power window switches to the later lit ones. My defroster button glows ( and it's off, it's brighter when it's on), but the hazard and a/c buttons do not (again, they're off, when on they're bright like the defroster.) Shouldn't the a/c and hazard switch glow like the defroster button when the lights are on? And are any other buttons supposed to be on?
