Please help me buy rims

Hello everyone. I bought my first 2000 BMW 528i over the summer. I want to put some rims on it. The car is silver and I want to do 19s staggered.

I was looking at Bremmer BR 07 from tire rack, which looks like the BBS, but I want something with a deep lip on it, especially the rear rim. I like this rim, (Work Rezak), but its a little pricey. Any recommendation around $800 just rim. I don't want Chrome, I want a silver rim with a polish lip cause I'm going to use the car year round in new York in some snow.

Can any one recommend a website or rim company that I should look at. I looked on ebay, tirerack and discount tires direct.

Make sure you get the entire wheel, not just the rim. Otherwise, you won't be able to mount them on the car.

I did look at these on eBay, just didn't know how deep the lip on it was. I was going to buy those but was a little skeptical of the brand. The bremmer br 07 looks like those rims

Hi,

The budget you mention means if you want brand new wheels in 19 inch sizing you'll be looking at the lower end of the market in terms of brands and products. I'd personally suggest to steer clear of unbranded replica's and as a 'minimum' go for branded wheels. This also ties in with the fact you've mentioned you'll use them throughout winter as the cheap unbranded wheels often start to deteriorate quickly due to their low level of finish quality. That said, some people do find their unbranded replica's will last a bit longer in that respect as well as them not going egg shaped, cracking or bending as well. If you do go this route, on the flipside to that, do be prepared for them indeed to go egg shaped, crack or bend !

When it comes to design, there's not 'many' deep lip designs out there. I suspect you'd like the look where the rear wheel has a significantly deeper lip than the front? if so, there are a few choices but not many and they'd be considerably more than the budget you mention. Choices like the Racing Dynamics RD2, RH X-Rad, Replica 19 inch M Parallel are ones with the look I think you are after. The 'usual' choices will have a good sized 'lip' but not to the dimensions of these and perhaps a few others.

So, you've either got to up your budget considerably, or compromise on the 'ultra deep' lip look on the rear wheels and choose a set you can afford. The RD2's are ultra, ultra rare to find, and so are those RH X-rad's. I got some 19" MRRs from Need4speed motorsports. CAll them and ask to speak to Edgar , He will beat anyones price hands down. You will thank me later
