X1 E84 (2011 - current)
The new to the US BMW X1 will arrive at BMW dealers in the fall of 2012 as a 2013 model year. Get your X1 28i with either sDrive (RWD) or xDrive (AWD) or get the US exclusive I6 N55 powered X1 35i dDrive. |

xDrive35i Fuel Economy?
With the talk of the xDrive28i fuel economy not being where it was expected I thought it would be interesting to hear what MPG people were getting on the xDrive35i.

I'm getting about 20 around town and 28 on the highway, closer to 29 with eco pro on.There is only about 500 on the odometer, so it's a small sample, but it may do better when the engine is completely broken in.
For comparison, my previous 335 coupe was rated at 24-25 on the highway, but after a couple years it was routinely getting 28-29.

I'm getting around 19/20 city and 25/26 highway - probably due to my lead foot and love for the sound of this engine. I probably need to be making better use of the EcoPro mode!

Same here, after 2100 miles of 50/50 city/highway it sits at 22.8mpg.
