lexus forums were no help what so ever ! i just entered the bmw forums and wow even worse i must say. no feedback - no comments - u have 600 views and 1 comment and it was from the mod lol crazy ish !! but oh well !

Trash?

There are not as many X5 owners on here as on Xoutpost, but calling it trash is completely BS. Maybe the viewers haven't experience the same issue as you do so they can't offer any help/advice/idea. Or maybe they do but it hasn't been resolved yet so they view your thread in hoping for a solution/answer. Or maybe your question had been asked thousands of times before so everyone should be able to search for the answer him/herself.

well i wasnt talkin about my personal threads .. if you look at most post people make they have 650 300 100 views and NO REPLY. thats all im sayin. as far as my navi upgrade post i made it was just to give others some kind of idea on swapping out the factory system.

It doesn't even cross your mind that it had been done before? The SAV is about 10 yrs old and people done swapping stock audio before. They didn't reply since your thread gives none of the info that they don't already know. You expect a pat on the back or something?

the OP other post doesn't ask for help, it's more of a statement so I'm not sure what he was expecting. Most readers chime in on questions and requests of assistance.

Although this forum serves it purpose for some users, the OP is correct in the uselessness of this site for people seeking advice, help, direction, assurance, diagrams, schematics or anything mechanical when it comes to our X5's.

Maybe this was/isn't the purpose of this sight, so I myself have moved on to Xoutpost.com. I believe the OP should as well. I will and do always check back every once in a while and update my own previous posts with helpful information for future X5 owners who may wonder into this website seeking answers.

So what you are saying is that the people reading the thread should reply to your questions even though they have no idea what the answer is........ just make something up...... yeah that makes a ton of sense.

I would also Disagree that this site is "Trash"...

Both forums have been very helpful and useful. There are many other ways to Research any issues, it's nice to be in a community that shares Both related experiences and support!
