Hello bimmers!

This is a very long story from a long time ago, i talked about that in my presentation! Here:http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/showthread.php?t=653687

I've already shown some pictures of the Touring i am restoring.
It's a 12/96' 325 Tds Touring Full M Pack in violet.

In this project i pretend to change the color of it and give a new look to the interiors wich look very bad!

So let's see how it was when i bought it:

In the next posts i will show you what is already done!

Nem paint in Montego Blue
Factory M3 Front Lip Spoiler
New headlights with angel eyes
New Bonnet and trunk badges
Factory M3 Front grill
Cristal Smoked fog lights.
Alpina 18' wheels
Cristal smoked side repeaters
Cristal Smoked corners
Door handle rubber trims

Interior:
Full seating with synthetic leather
Door Panels in synthetic leather
Gearknob, handbrake and steering wheel in synthetic leather
Radio Cd BUsiness CD43
Cruise Control retrofit
Chrome gauge rings
Cluster M Badge
Tinted Windows
Interior white led lights
Air cond. retrofit
M Pedals

...and i think it's all!

I don't remember one day without seeing a touring on the road, we have loads here but just a few M Pack!

That's a huge work, but it has to be done to look perfect at the end.

After removing all the exterior components it was ready to start preparing the paintjob!

Every single parts were painted before mounting !

Now was time to apply some 3M protection before the final paint.

It was done! Good bye violet and welcome Montego Blue!

Hello guys!

Now the car went to restore the interior in full synthetic leather.
I designed myself the details. It will look amazing when finshed.
Everything will be black with some delicious details.
The headliner is already black but will be replaced.
Brand new carpets are being made also, the steering wheel is getting a brand new cover.

So next steps coming soon, with photos of course!

Nevermind...Montego looks way better on that than I could have have imagined. Good choice.

At first I couldn't believe it was going to get painted, but I now understand

That car with 18" Alpinas + 5 speed swap would just be incredible...

I was thinking about that swap but its very expensive as there are lots of parts to swap. But at the first experience with an automatic i found it quite impressive. The Sport selector rules!
Montego Blue was love at first sight!

Alpina 18 will look something like this:
