That would be a dream car! But it's not possible to do it legally, It's very a very expensive
process starting with the papework and after the mechanical work.

Ah, yes. I forgot about all of the crazy European emission taxes.

When I showed up for emissions testing with a 6cyl engine in my 318, the guy got mad cause he already wrote "4cyl" on the sheet and had to cross it out. That's about all the legal trouble I had

I've done the opposite

An A/C retrofit would be a pain but definitely possible. It would probably be most cost-effective to get an entire setup from a parts car, and just replace the wear items (dryer/o-rings). The hardest part will be to replace the whole setup around the evaporator.

BMW sells a retrofit set with instructions. With that i think it will be easier. Do you know someone from a bmw dealer? They should have some pdf's

Not sure what the retrofit kit consists of, but I can guarantee it'll be too expensive if it's coming from the dealer.

What pdfs are you talking about? If you're looking for a pdf of the A/C system diagram, check out RealOEM.com.

I meant the retrofitting instructions, this document comes together with the set, and the full set costs about $1000. I found the parts list at bmw fans and with this list i can buy all the parts on ebay and save 70 to 80 %.
This is something that i want but i know that it will take time, that's why i'm serching now, to save time wile i'm doing other things in the car!

Really looks great! I like the accent stitching! It makes a statement but it's not over the top.
