BMW 135 Lease, Good Deal?
Bares Bones BMW 135 lease;
Only option is the DCT. MSRP: $40,795 with destination+handling ($895) and $150 dealer prep fee. Selling Price: $38,550 36 month, 12,000 miles/year Money Factor: .86 Biggest question on this, is this good, bad? Residual factor: 59% Monthly Payment: $458 before tax. Drive off Costs: Registration Bank Fee: $725 Documentation Fee: $399 7 x Security Deposit: $3500 First Payment Is this a good deal? I have the most questions around the money factor and the selling price? is that close enough to invoice? Am i getting screwed on the money factor? Thanks |

Use BMWconfig.com - it will tell you the invoice price.
Not sure about your deal but my buddy got a 135i last year in Nov - Barebones, +MSport and is paying less. You might want to wait to see Nov incentives. Just my 2 cents.

Post the invoice price. Also what was your original money factor.

Bank fee as the minimum as well. Not sure what invoice is but the only other thing you can complain about is that doc fee. In california for example the state doesnt allow anything above $80 and though some states go higher, there is definitely room to go down there. I am also guessing your sales price is still about 1500 over invoice.

Good to know. That's exactly what I was not sure about. Invoice is $37480 for this build. Minus the document fee it seems like a decent deal.

Yeah you are already giving them 1k over invoice. Make them charge you at most $80 for the doc fee or if they insist on that price insist on 37980 for the car.

Note that dealers rarely negotiate on their doc fees, so it is probably easier to accept the doc fee as is and just push for a lower selling price to make up the difference.
