I thought I heard on Speed News that Boris Said and Dale JR were going to run a corvette ALMS car together. Anyone else remember seeing that?

You heard correctly - they will race together at Sears Point.

From IMSA site today:

The Corvette team normally fields two cars in ALMS races, but for the Infineon Grand Prix of Sonoma there will be three, with the third entry co-driven by NASCAR star Dale Earnhardt, Jr., and road racing veteran Boris Said. Earnhardt will be racing in the American Le Mans Series for the first time.

I understand the "draw" of the Earnhardt's, but I'm surprised that Chevy has never put Jeff Gordon into one of their Corvettes. Dale and Dale Jr. both drove the Corvettes in the 24 Hours of Daytona in the past, but you'd think that Jeff Gordon would be the natural choice for a NASCAR guy to go road racing.
