wheel repair/powder coat?

My rims have some curb rashes and one has a chip on it from the previous owner. I was wondering where I can get them repaired and possibly powdercoated (gunmetal or black) for a decent price in LA area?

Any recommendations? Hopefully it'll be cheaper than getting new rims..otherwise those M6 reps are looking mighty good.

i'm actually waiting on my wheels as of right now =)

http://www.performancewheelrepair.com/ is where i went. Go there and have them estimate...a little cheaper for me than what is quoted on page.

I got quoted $60/wheel to fix the oem curb rashes or $70/wheel to powder coat them. My "curb rashes" were realllllllly light ie: it didn't take a chunk away from my wheel itself..

Your best bet if anyone is interested is to take it to Marco and have him give you an estimate. Otherwise, you could also take pictures of your wheels and email it to him, but this guy is very busy it seems especially now when everyone is bringing out their cars out =)

Mein Auto: 2003 e39 540i M-Package
I just purchased a 2003 e39 and one of the wheels had a minor dent from the previous owner. I plan to get it repaired and get the four 18" OEM mPars powercoated. Anyone know a good place in LA/OC to get them done? Also, what's the going rate per wheel or for the whole set?

Also to prophetx2,

What's the color of your powdercoat? My e39 is white and I was thinking of going anywhere from gunmetal to black.

Thanks

I know your post on the powder coating was from 7 years ago, but. How did it hold up ? Did you have any problems. Are rim clamp tire machine a problem when mounting unmounting tires ? I went to 3 local companies this afternoon. First two were no longer in business, but still in my Google search. Last one quoted me $ 90 per and said it " takes me no time to do 4 " I'm a bit leary of a quick job/
