Berkeley Indy Shop for Inspection?

Does anyone have any input on a reputable indy shop to conduct a pre-purchase inspection on a CPO in Berkeley?

Sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong spot.

Driven by their shop, seems legit. If you're getting a car from Weatherford, check it carefully.

If you are willing to go to San Francisco and you are a AAA member you can set an appointment for a "car clinic".

Also agree with recent post: Test drove a CPO car from Weatherford and wondered why engine sounded unusually loud & rough, then the Low Oil warning came on...

Also if you need a friendly SA let me know. The 2 SA's at concord that I've used for the last couple of years have been great getting things fixed under warranty. Just in case you don't want to take it to weatherford for repairs.

oh wow okay thank you! Im picking up a 2011 328i cpo tomorrow at peter pan. Do you think i need to purchase the maintenance package? they quoted me $2500 for 3 years. The vehicle itself has 1 year and 10k left on the plan. It is just so expensive, im just not sure if it is worth it or if i should just find an indy shop to do all the repair and oil changing.

That is a bit much. Since you have the cpo portion which covers repairs, minus the IDrive/audio system/battery/maintenance items, that is usually the concern. I personally would find a good Indy shop, I use Performance Technics in Dublin, to do the work. Just the simple math, BMW does oil changes every 15k miles which most people only drive 12-15k miles a year. At Indy shop rates that will be about $330-360 in oil changes in three years.
