BMW - 4 Series Gran Coupe
BMW hear my wish - Please make the upcoming 4 Series Gran Coupe a smaller clone of the new 6 Series Gran Coupe. It is the best looking car BMW has produced in many years!
I was at my dealer today with my wife's car for service, and had the time to walk the showroom and their lot with a very knowledgable sales rep. I saw the 6 Series 2 door coupe, and while I think it is also a remarkable design, the back seats are totally useless for a car that size. We went out to see a 6 Series Gran Coupe that was parked next to a line of 3 Series F30s. We spent about 20 minutes just going over how it looked, and it looks great! The front end without the headlamps going into the grill really sets this car off, and by comparison, clearly shows what a miscue the design is on the F30. I hit my head getting into the back seat but there was ample leg room to sit behind a driver once I got in. The roof slope is lower for the Gran Coupe design and it will no doubt be more of an issue getting into a 4 Series Gran Coupe. I didn't like how the GPS screen is mounted that also looks kinda like an afterthought, but the rest of the interior design is excellent. I have not been that excited about a BMW design, or the design of most sedans, as much as I am about the 6 Series Gran Coupe. At a retail sticker of over $100,000 nicely equipped, I would not want to buy the 6 Series GC because the resale value for BMW 6 & 7 Series is usually terrible. I really hope that BMW clones this design for the upcoming 4 Series Gran Coupe, because BMW will have hit the ball out of the park with a car like this. Nice job BMW!

I agree with you on the 650 GC and I am thinking of getting one to replace my 535i in a few years. Not sure if it will be a 650 GC or a 650 convertible, but it will possibly be one of those two. I like this car for the same reason I like the Panamara.....

I too am eagerly awaiting the 4er GC. Although I am not too eager to see the price, which I'll bet could reach into the low $70K's on fully-loaded examples.

I think it is one of the best designs out there and one of the worst sticker prices as well. It really needs to be 20k less at least. I cant price one for under 106k that is at all nice.
