E34 M5 or 2002tii?
Just curious as to thoughts on this...
I'm considering replacing my '72 2002tii with a '91 M5. Similar usage (weekend toy). Unfortunately, the 2002 is just too low-geared for the sustained 85mph cruising speeds in CA and without A/C, unbearable in the 90+ degree heat so I'm looking for a better highway car with air conditioning. I'd love to hear what you guys have experienced in terms of maintenance schedules and costs on your M5s. Thanks in advance for any advice! |

I agree I've driven a 2002 daily for a couple months. It's fun, no doubt but I'm personally not into that car. Love it, but I don't lol. It feels like your shifting a tractor, and the gears are Sooooo short.
M5 all the way!
