At least ESPN responded appropriately and has suspended Parker until further notice. What a fool.

He seemed to be the first one to grasp the enormity of that moment...

I wish they could interview parker again to see exactly how he wants RGIII to act.

The young man is a good role model and seems to have his head on straight. Who cares what color he is?!

There are so many knuckleheads in the NFL of all races, Parker decides to judge RGIIIs blackness and go as far as to call him a " cornball brotha" is an absolute outrage. I would like to know his definition of " blackness" because that in itself is a racist remark. He shook hands with Republican ex-Governor Allen and he has a white girlfriend so he isn't furthering the "cause" according to Parker.

RGIII has been exemplary in his conduct thus far, he has carried himself with Intelligence, dignity, respect and great character on and off the field. So lets question his blackness!!!

Better yet - lets question why a black commentator decided to question the blackness of a black man who has carried himself with Intelligence, dignity, respect and great character on and off the field. Is it that far outside the acceptable norms of that community that it's worthy of derision?

I guess he thinks you're not really black unless you've done . While in one way its just another example of how racism exists in all races, its really worse than that. Its shows that a large part of the African American community looks down on acting like the rest of western culture, as if that isn't "being black". No other group in this country is so vocal about not fitting in. I've got black friends that get very frustrated every time some idiot like this speaks out (and they make the news frequently here in Chicago), as it makes people thing that the majority are that way.
