I could use one as well - mine's so old it doesn't know about a lot of the new roads around here. Any idea how much one costs?

Look up a guy named Imm1005 on eBay...I got the 2012 east coast and west coast discs for $45. They work perfect!

If your home screen menu is gray in color, they should work. If its Brown in color, I think there might be some problems without a firmware update...

How is the NAV upgrade NinjaPotumus?

I could certainly use the speed upgrade they claim.

I also bought the ebay 2012. It works great. But I'm curious - how does BMW permit this? At 1/6 the cost of BMW direct.

Practically all BMW nav disks sold on eBay are pirated copies. Since BMW supplied disks are not copy-protected, anybody can run off a copy on their PC. Check the data side, I bet it has bluish sheen, just like when you burn a DVD yourself. Originals have a silvery surface.

It is illegal, it is called software piracy. People that buy these discs are ripping off the company that made the original discs.

Once again, I'm amazed that people post on the Internet that they are doing this, and/or making these. Software piracy isn't a joke, and has some significant penalties if you get caught.
