Window decals: Tacky or not?

Does anyone here think window decals are tacky? I have a few, planning on getting more. Im def. not putting any on my paint, but on the back and side windows, of course. How many is too many? I have two (The bimmerfest one, and the German crest). But am probably getting 3 more soon? Whats acceptable, to you guys? Just wanna hear some opinons.

I have a pair on my both 7's that are the roundel but look like they are etched into the rear quarter glass. Also MINI badge on R50 quarter glass. That's it for me but a will be adding a club badge to my club car. Not keen on others.

they are not tacky so long as you keep it tasteful. Ive seen e46 M3's go by with BMW M POWER on the front windshields and I liked. This is just all my opinion, but if you are gonna tag the back, make it short and simple. Too much, and it gets tacky, and quite frankly, no one wants to read a sticker bombed window while driving. And of corse, no stupid phrases, not on a bimmer. When I see stuff like Big Ballin on a bimmer, it saddens me.

Tacky. Not stickers. Its all about class.

It's a matter of opinion, personally I stay away from putting stickers, I even took off the one the dealer put on it with their name; it's just like putting rims on a car, not every rim looks good on it, if you're going to do it, do it tastefully or tape the stickers on it, then post a picture here and we will give you our advice if they don't look good just take the tape of and get rid of them.

some arent. location does matter. thats my subby. and yes, i have alot of stickers.

Our E30 has a BMW CCA and S14 Sig sticker on the rear quarter panel. Our E36 has a BMW CCA sticker and race tracks on the rear quarter. I think small stickers on the side are fine. Not a fan of large stickers on the front or rear windows.

I came back to my e30 today to find a 'follower of jesus' bumper sticker at the top of my rear window and an 'i love jesus' badge attached to my front window

I thought it was funny It is god's chariot afterall

A nice CCA sticker is fine had one on my E30 but not any "I <3 Yoga Pants".

I just think it adds personality to the car.

Which personality? Coco Channel or Homer Simpson?

I put the " Eat, Sleep,BMW" symbols on the back of mine. Gives it character, and it makes people laugh a little.

I think most decals make you look like a plumber-van...

If you're going to plaster a huge orange message across your back window, at least get the phrase correct.

Stickers: I have the BMW-CCA, the Bimmerfest.com and E36tech.com stickers on the rear side windows. Small, discreet, not tacky.

One small, tasteful sticker in each rear quarter panel is the limit. Beyond that they're ugly.

Im putting the bimmerfest.com stickers on my back quarter windows. Thats it, tasteful and well placed decals are ok. "stickers" are tacky if you get it for 50 cents in a dispenser you must not love your car.

Just found the 'bimmerfest' sticker area. Gonna have to buy and display. Very Coco, not Homer.

I have the bimmerfest sticker under my cyclops light. Looks good there eh.
