|
Need help!! With resetting service engine light
okay so i did not close the gas cap tightly and 2 days later i got the service engine soon light. I took it to firestone and they did find out that it was the gas cap that triggered it. However they could not reset it with their code machine thing. i have tried resetting it myself but i cant get "RESET" to appear on the dash....all that appears when i press the button is "SIA 3247 1" PLEASE HELP!!!!! STEP BY STEP DIRECTIONS IF AVAILABLE PLEASE. THANK YOu

The light should reset itself after a few day.

It takes a day or two for some computers to learn everything is fine, it'll go away.

Have you tried YouTube yet? That's how I learn to reset my car.

It been since thursday how long does it norm take? I have tried youtube no help either... Thanks 4 the replies thogh
