E30 (1982 - 1993)
God's Chariot. The E30 was produced primarily from 1982 through 1991. The cabriolet was the one exception which was produced through 1993. |

the front metal bumper you need a deep drive socket and you need to unscrew the bumper shock from the bumper and unplug the indicators. there are 4 bolts in total 2 per shock. the rear i have no idea.

From what I've heard the wheel well arches don't match to the urethane bumpers if you have a metal bumpered car. I was going to do the bumper swap but heard its a PITA because you have to cut the urethane bumpers to match the wheel well. But I may be mistaken. I noticed on some body kits they go up to 87' then another number for the 88-93.

read that link and u will be golden. I am in the middle of this at the moment, following the same link. its not so bad. the front bumper is a direct bolt on, the rear requires some alterations. |

I have a 84 325e and i recently converted both bumpers to plastic.
you really need the brackets that they have for the plastic bumpers to mount them on. for the front, it literally just slipped on. and for the rear, i have to cut about an inch off because the plastic bumper was too long for my E. |
